A Primary Challenger for Johnny Isakson?

by Ron Davis on December 11, 2009

Welcome to all you United Liberty readers! Here's a link to my RSS feed for you. I'd love to have you following the blog regularly. Thanks for visiting!

Maybe so.  I got this today by email:

“If no one else will, I may have to consider an inside challenge to U.S. Senator Isakson as a Republican who is deeply troubled by constant votes to expand Government and National Debt, we must make dramatic change and fast. I am seriously looking at this prospect, we must De Power DC and move the power of Government back to the people who live outside the beltway.”

Aleq Boyle
Savanna, Georgia

I don’t have a lot of information on Boyle at this point. We had a short conversation by phone a couple weeks ago, and I know he is genuinely frustrated with the ever-expanding federal government of which Johnny Isakson has been a proponent.  Isakson needs a real conservative to challenge him on so many issues.  I think Boyle understands that, and I’m thrilled to hear of this possibility.

I’ll post more information on this as it’s passed to me.
